Dies ist ein Text den ich ursprünglich an ein recht geschlossenes Non-Profit Softwareprojekt schicken wollte, es dann aber sein und den Text unvollständig gelassen habe. Vielleicht kann jemand was damit anfangen oder ich kann es nochmal gebrauchen.

I understand your desire to keep control over the project. As well as parents have a desire to do the best for their children you want to have the best for the project. But one day the child has to stand on its own feet. It may very well be, that this day is still far away and it is up to you, to decide when it is. But I hope you can be strong enough to let go. Because that is one of the hardest thing for parents as well as for a maintainer. It then may not evolve in a way you wish, but that is how nature works, the result will be right in there own way. For now free beer is good, it grows well, but one day it wants free speech. |
Naja, vielleicht hätte ich den Text auch wegschmeissen sollen, aber so bin ich nunmal.
