Plane spotting

On 1 May, I was out on a field trip through eastern London, along the Regent’s Canal towards London City Airport (LCY). The goal: To take the new 300mm lens and see if I can spot a plane or twenty.

To be fair, in London the real challenge would be to go to a place and not see a plane, so I was fairly confident to get some decent pictures of planes and get them real close as well.

Some 400 pictures later, I returned home and procrastinated the task of sorting and cataloguing the days work. But finally, here’s a selection of 45 somewhat decent place pictures.
